Running Repeated Measures as a Mixed Model
There are two ways to run repeated measures data--a multivariate approach in which each repeated response is a unique variable and a univariate, mixed-model approach in which all responses are a single variable, and the effects of the repeated measurements are directly estimated.
While the multivariate approach is relatively easy, it is limited. The mixed model approach can handle many more varied designs, missing data, and, with modifications, discrete and categorical responses.
This webinar is a basic overview and comparisons of the approaches. You will see the differences in how data must be entered in the two approaches, the results, and a few examples of the types of data that can be analyzed.
What you will receive:
1. A Downloadable 60+minute Video: Running Repeated Measures as a Mixed Model
2. 3 pdf handouts of the SPSS output and syntax to run the model using the GLM Repeated Measures approach, the Mixed approach with a Repeated statement, and the Mixed approach with a Random statement.
